Eat Tuna for Six-Pack Abs
One of the best sources of lean protein is tuna fish. If you are trying to get very lean, you should consider eating tuna as your protein at least two or three times per week.
Tuna is not only high in protein, it is also low in fat and contains almost no carbohydrates. If achieving six-pack abs is your goal, this type of lean protein source is indispensible.
Some body builders recommend eating tuna straight from the can. However you prepare it, be sure not to mix it with any high-fat condiments. For example, it is quite common for restaurants to mix tuna with real mayonnaise, which of course adds a huge number of fat calories to this otherwise very healthy entree.
The humble tuna fish sandwhich is perhaps the simplest and healthiest way to make a meal from tuna. Simply mix fat-free mayo with the tuna and spread it on toasted whole-wheat bread. (Leave the cheese and other condiments off. Add lettuce and tomato if desired.) Tuna on whole wheat is a simple meal that provides a healthy dose of protein and low-glycemic carbs all in one.
