I have found another good reason to install granite bench tops in new kitchens. Just the other day I was cutting cheese on the bench in our kitchen, not on a cutting board, but on the bench surface itself. It was not granite. I noticed as I was finishing making the cuts that there was a small mark near the area I was at, and when I looked closer it turned out to be a tiny scratch. That surprised me because our bench is not quite one year old. And already it is scratched. If it had been a granite top I am sure the scratch would not have been made. I love lobster. I just don’t care for cooking them. They look pretty scarey even with the bands around their claws. I also have empathy for them which is not a good thing to have for something you’re about to cook. It had a sort of cream sauce with it and was served over dinner rolls that had been made from scratch. This was probably over 20 years ago and I still remember how good it tasted.

I really think that things are just so wonderful right now. We might not be able to make things go better in a snap but then we have to make sure that we do the right thing. Well, maybe the music wall decorations would be really perfect. I must say that the music wall decorations are going to be so nice. We have been trying our best to keep things done the right way.
