My Son Moves Skid Pallets with His Fork Lift
My son works in a large local department store. Every night transports pull into the back of the building and back up to the delivery doors. Huge wooden skid pallets are unloaded, all shrink-wrapped and ready to be moved into the store itself. His job is to run the fork-lift and gently transfer these skids full of everything from computer equipment to food to diapers. I guess he must do a good job because they have given him more than one raise since he started six months ago. I’m glad that he is a pretty cautious guy because he would feel absolutely terrible if he accidentally hurt anyone.
