When you feel that you are about to have an anxiety attack, try to relax, clear your mind of worries and breathe deeply. Visualize yourself in a pleasant environment doing something you like. I know it is easier said than done because anxiety attacks come spontaneously and are hard to control once it is triggered.

You can practice relaxation by meditating even while you are not expecting an attack. Yoga is also a good way to relax both the mind and the body. Meditating a few times a day helps you stay relaxed throughout the day.
