What do church bulletin covers and book covers have in common? More than you think, that’s for sure. For one, you can’t judge a church bulletin or a book by it’s cover. Granted, a book is a little more substantive, but the idea is not lost on the comparison. Church bulletins also contain pretty covers with content inside. In that way, it would be wrong to dismiss or embrace the bulletin merely by what you see on the front. The true benefit of church bulletin covers is that they are a preview of what’s inside. A lens of understanding to what lies beneath, if you will.
