My son won’t listen to me about hardly anything. I’ve been telling him that he needs to take Spanish for business reasons if nothing else. When so much of the population is Mexican, it can do nothing but good for him to be fluent in another language. But if I suggest it, it goes in one ear and out the other. I should get his father to suggest it because he respects him more as a business person. He thinks his stay at home mother knows nothing of the world. But he doesn’t know that I worked for years before he was ever a thought in my mind.
