Lowering Power Bill in New House
I just got my first power bill in my new house. It was over $300 for two months. I have been using an electric space heater and a kerosene heater and I only heat one room. I have to replace the heat and air unit because it was stolen from the house while it was under foreclosure. I want to go with a LEED certified heating system and I have to replace some broken windows. I want the house to be as fuel efficient as possible. It would be nice if the bill was only $150 per month to heat the entire house.
